SUMMER FUN!!!

WOW! What a summer we had! We took lots of trips, swam to keep us cool, and played till the sun said Goodnight. Steve took both of the boys on their annual Father/son fishing trip to Monache for a week. This was Caleb's first trip and Brady's third time. They fished with their cousins: Ryder and Caile, and a few other friends came and went throughout the week. The second trip of the summer we went up to Shaver Lake (above Fresno in the mountains) to meet up with some church friends. We stayed at the camp grounds and borrowed a towehauler to stay in. Their were 5 families represented and a total of about 50 of us. what a camp set up. The men got up every morning for devotionals and cooked everyone breakfast and every night a different family cooked. We were only their for three days while the others stayed all week. Our next vacation was our long awaited yearly family trip to Tahoe with the Voth Family. We boat across the Lake about 4 times in the week and the other we go to the park and have a picnic, take a boat ride with Grandpa Voth over to emerald bay and see the castle, and in the evenings we play baseball and games with the kids. It is a wonderful and special place to create memories. Our Last but not least was a quick weekend trip up to Long Meadow in the Sequoia's; Only 2 hours from home. We met our friends, the McNulty's, up there to help them move some cattle to a different meadow. While the guys were gone, the kids had a ball playing collecting pine cones and rocks. Steve helps them frequently work cattle and we have wonderful new friends! This Summer Julia turned 3 and she will be starting preschool for two day's a week. Caleb (almost 5) will be three days a week and Brady (age 6) will be in Kindergarten again but at a different school (Maple Elementary). Nathan is 7 months now and is growing bigger and bigger. He learned to crawl this week and is just busy, busy, busy! He is a very happy baby! I am proud to announce that Steve has completed and received his pilots license! Now we can fly places together in half the time. As for me, well, I'm working on a plan to have more time to myself. I am blessed to stay home with my children, but mama's need an outlet too! I would love to take a Gun safety class, ride my horse more, workout or play tennis. Thanks for catching up!
